Al Mafraq Solar Farm was part of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) innovative “Seven Sisters” financing package, which provided a total of $207 million in debt financing for seven projects awarded under Jordan’s Round 1. Martifer Solar, the prime contractor, awarded SolarFusion, managed by ICS technologies the contract to design, procure and install the electrical systems of this solar farm. ICS and SolarFusion were assisted by Koco Group and Kurland GmbH of Germany who completed the engineering system’s designand assisted in the management of the installation services.


Tanzania Solar TZ21 School Project

ICS is the subcontractor to Creative Associates to provide Solar systems together with its associated services to 1000 schools in several cities and towns in Zanzibar and Mtwara Regions in Tanzania. The Solar Systems consist mainly of over 1,500 225W Solar Panels, 750 Micronexus w/ ProStar 30 & MNBCM Switchboards w/ Prostar 30, 1,000 PV Array Wire Assembly, 1,500 Battery Harnesses, over 2,500 200Ah and 335Ah Batteries, Charge Controllers, over 2,000 Inverters, chargers and capacitors. In addition to the procurement of Solar systems, ICS performed phase I of the associated services that consisted of providing the following services; Comprehensive Project Management from source to final location, Warehousing and distribution of Equipment to the satellite warehouse and to the schools, Technical training on Solar systems, battery management, inverters connection and provide installation plans and schedules to install the Solar Systems.

Bolivia Schools Solar Package Kits

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Bolivia
ICS was awarded this contract by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Bolivia to provide solar powered electricity kits to several schools in Bolivia. The kit is fully assembled by ICS at a staging area in La Paz, Bolivia. Every kit is completely operational as a standalone system comprising solar panel, inverter, controller, batteries and wire harnesses. ICS also provided 13Watt light fixtures together with light tubes to be operated by the solar kit. All systems were distributed to the schools in Bolivia.


USAID Gore-Chernomyrdin Commission Energy Policy Committee
Due to unique expertise in identification of the most cost efficient products, ICS Technologies, Inc. has been awarded procurement and system integration contracts for a total value of over US $9,000,000. This program was launched by VP Gore and consisted of 45 small contracts. ICS was awarded 15 of these contracts. These projects were located in ten different cities in Russia. ICS had to mobilize the personnel in Russia and associated itself with Sun Computer Systems, Digital Corporation, Silicon Graphics, Varian Corporation of Palo Alto California, and Geophysical Data Systems of Moscow. At the same time ICS established its office in Moscow, Russia. This office provided in country support for ICS to manage all contracts in Russia.

Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

ICS was awarded this Task Order to establishment comprehensive Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for three major environmental laboratories in Moscow, Tumen and Magadan. The laboratories we constructed and equipped with systems in accordance with United States EPA regulations. The laboratories included the provision of several equipment and instrumentation including servers, computers, printers, gas chromatographs, spectrometers, spare parts, etc. ICS installed the instrumentation, commission and train end-user staff. ICS also provided after sales service for the next two years.

Aswan Dams Earthquake Monitoring Systems

ICS was awarded this contract to source, procure and install Earthquake Monitoring Systems at the Aswan High Dam in Aswan. The systems provided and installed by ICS included State-of-Art Solid State Accelerograph, with three Component Accelerometer Full Range ± 2.0 G, with 5 M Cable, Timing System, Internal Battery, Battery Charger, RS-232C Interface and Software. The system will communicate with a DCF-77 Receiver powered by MSX solar panel with inverters and controllers. The installation consisted of wiring and alignment and functional testing of all systems for proper operation. Certification and report with data, showing proper installation was provided by ICS including the training of the dam staff and operators.

Thermal Power Station of Faisalabad

ICS was awarded the contract to restore and renovate several power stations in several towns in Pakistan and namely, Faisalabad, Quetta, Kotri, Sukkur, Shahdara and Guddu. The contract included the supply and installation of essential spare parts including ignitors, burners, hoses, drum pressure, master steam pressure vessels, and air and temperature sensors. ICS also deployed computing relay systems including Standetrols, Differential Standetrols and Relay Stansdetrols. Contract was completed on time and within budget.

Restoration of the El Nozha Plant

Under the Egyptian Company for refractories, ICS was awarded a contract by the Kuljian Corporation of Philadelphia, PA to renovate and restor the El Nozha Plant in Alexandria, Egypt. The project consisted of restoring the refractory by introducing PLC Systems to monitor the energy and to provide modern equipment consisted of ABB 2000KVA Transformers, Pneumatic Cylinders and several structural works including the replacement of some burners and stacks. Installation, commissioning and training was provided to the refractory staff and their supervisors.

Jordan Energy Audit System

In its effort to audit the energy utilization of factories in Jordan, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan awarded ICS the contract to source, procure and install energy consumption systems that will be used to monitor and measure the net versus wasted energy being used by factories in Jordan. The systems were provided from several companies such as the Thermal Video System (TVS) from Hughes together with several transducers for air, surface, radiant and velocity Temperature, indoor gas analyzer and flue gas analyzers.
